- Circa 1900, these beautifully rich deep color cobalt blue beads were found in Mali and Nigeria, and are a late version of the beloved Dutch Cobalt Glass beads from the 18th-19th Century that were important Heirloom and Prestige Beads among the Dogon of Mali.
